Young Naturalists

The Young Naturalists enjoyed a brilliant morning with volunteer Brenda and some recently-hatched blue tit chicks

Brenda took them through the nest box monitoring process including ringing a number of blue tit chicks. The Young Naturalists loved it and asked lots of great questions. There is every chance that we have a couple of keen bird ringers in the making.

This group of 13-17 year olds meets every last Sunday of the month at their Blashford Lakes Nature Reserve in Ringwood, on the edge of the New Forest. Find out more
