Before raising her four children, Corinne was a Marketing and PR Manager with Disney based in Paris and London.

Corinne has always had an affinity with wildlife and nature and enjoys nothing more than walking in the countryside. This love was shared with her four children and much of their childhood was spent outdoors observing and participating in outdoor activities. It was Cameron who became passionate about the natural world and animals but as he matured, birds became his passion. His was always keen to share his love with others and she learnt so much about the bird world and how important birds are to our environment through him.

After our tragic loss, one of her comforts was to continue to spread his love of nature and therefore Cameron’s Trust was created in his memory. Corinne continues to search for new ways to connect young people with nature and is a firm believer that it is important for young people’s well-being as well as crucial for our planet.

Trustee #2483

Kevin is Cameron’s father and spends as much time in nature as possible. Kevin has been active in the global financial markets for over 30 years and oversees many of the Trust’s financial affairs. Kevin has been involved in nature from a young age, both through the Scouting movement as well as many different activities with school, family and friends.

Nature and the outdoors are now an important part of his family's life and Kevin passionately believes that all young people should have the opportunity to experience the wonders of the natural world. Given the dangers that our planet is facing, it is of vital importance that we do all we can to help instill a love of nature and appreciation of its wonders in children, so that the planet is seen as more than just a resource to be harvested. The Trust’s work is a fitting legacy to a special young man who had a passionate love for nature, and particularly birds.

Trustee #2485

Megan, 24, is Cameron’s triplet sister and she is studying a Masters degree in Communications at American University of Paris. Megan helps specifically helps with the Trusts work on Social Media. She is immensely proud of all the good work that the Trust is doing and knows that Cameron would be impressed to have so much good work being done in nature and birds under his name.

In the future she hopes that the Trust will be able to grow even more and to develop from all of the great ground work and initiatives that have already started. Her favourite part of the Trust is the Young Ambassadors Program which will enable the next generation of naturalists to have a voice and inspire others around them, something that is vital in order to protect our planet and the nature that lives on it in the future.

Trustee #2486

Nicholas, 24, is Cameron’s triplet brother and is studying a Masters degree in Business Management. He is very motivated to try to and preserve the natural world for all the future generations and is enthused about how the cottage will allow young people to experience and learn more about nature.

Trustee #2482

Sienna, 22, has just finished studying international relations at Durham. She is Cameron's sister and being able to honour her brother by working with the Trust and seeing the amazing work already done has been an incredibly positive experience for her. Seeing responses from children who have been helped through the Trusts work has enabled her to really see how much of a positive impact it has had and motivated her to ensure the Trusts aim of connecting children with nature continues to be met.

Trustee #2480

Nicky moved to the Winchester area from London 25 years ago and became a close friend of the Bespolka family about ten years later though the Pilgrims’ School. She was appointed Secretary and then Chairman of the Pilgrims’ Parents’ Association, where one of her main responsibilities was organising major (and unmissable!) events such as the summer fête, the quiz night and the 75th Anniversary Ball.

Nicky has always been particularly interested in helping out local charities, volunteering at the Hampshire Riding Therapy Centre, fundraising for Arthritis Research, and sitting on the Winchester Committee of Clic Sargent. She also trained as a volunteer for Friends of the Family, a charity that provides support and guidance to families that struggle to cope, and of which she was eventually made a Trustee.

Nicky then became involved with the Cameron Bespolka Trust and helped with sourcing the scented candles and other items now sold online and at events. She believes that the Trust is not only important as the wonderful memorial to Cameron that it is, but is also vital as a way to help children in today’s fractious society immerse themselves in the natural world that Cameron loved so much and forget about the problems and stresses they may be facing.

Trustee #5636

Clare Talks, new Trustee, has a passion for the natural world and is happiest when standing in waders in a chalk stream on a summer’s afternoon admiring the beauty of the translucent water and tussocks of emerald-green water crowfoot’. Clare brings 500 local pupils each year to the Nature Reserve at Winchester College where she teaches Geography and is Director of Community Service. He is a former student at Winchester College and was the secretary of the school’s Natural History Society in his final year when Cameron joined. He was inspired by the incredible enthusiasm and highly developed birding skills that Cameron brought to the trips they both went on to nature reserves around Hampshire. Growing up in the Sussex countryside, Alasdair always loved being in nature, but it was at Winchester that his knowledge and passion for birding developed in earnest. He went on to study Zoology at the University of Bristol and then gained a master’s in Tropical Forest Ecology from Imperial College London.

Alasdair has worked as a civil servant, an ecologist, a conservation charity fundraiser, and for the RSPB as a night watch warden on an island seabird sanctuary. He is also a keen hiker, climber and mountaineer, and he enjoys supervising Duke of Edinburgh groups, helping young people get into the outdoors, often for their first camping experience. He firmly believes in the vital importance of connecting people with nature, as it is only through a love and an understanding of nature that we can hope to ensure its preservation.
