Another fantastic Young Leaders Course

We are delighted to report that the BTO Young Leaders Course that we sponsor was able to go ahead at the end of July

The fate of the course had been up in the air for some time because of Covid. It was a huge relief when it was able to go ahead with ten talented youngsters in search of imporving their leadership skills.

This camp aims to help those aged 16 to 23 to develop their leadership skills and better equip them to make a difference. The course is based at the world-famous Spurn Bird Observatory and run jointly by BTO and the bird observatory.

A huge thank you to Andy Clements.Lizzie Bruce, Shaun Robson, Nick Moran and Faye Vogely for running the course.

We had a fantastic time with ten talented young people last week on the Young Leaders Course. Thanks to the support of the Cameron Bespolka Trust and the Spurn Observatory. We were able to teach them what it takes to be a leader, from practical skills to understanding team dynamics
