There was an incredible turnout for the annual Cameron Bespolka Memorial Talk, hosted by Winchester College. We were thrilled to see about 420 local primary school children from seven different schools attend.

An inspirational talk was delivered by Nick Baker, a Winchester College teacher and BBC wildlife presenter. He enthralled everyone with his talk on ‘Weird Creatures’. Who would know where to find a Pink Fairy Armadillo, the smallest and rarest armadillo in the world? And who would know that Snot Otters existed? Mark Amey was on hand to talk about creatures, explaining to the children the aspects that make each living creature beautiful and unique.

Thank you so much to Nick for an amazing talk and thank you Winchester College for once again hosting this event. We were so delighted to support this very special afternoon, together with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust and RSPB Love Nature RSPB South West.

And lastly thank you to the schools for allowing their pupils to attend: St Bede Church of England Primary, Sparsholt Primary School, Oliver’s Battery School, Kings Worthy Primary School, Princes Mead, All Saints Church of England Primary and Pilgrims.
