Arjun and Mya in Guardian Documentary

Two of our former Young Ambassadors Arjun Dutta and Mya Bambrick feature in a new Guardian documentary entitled Skyward

In the documentary the pair talk about how they are feeling the threat of climate breakdown and the biodiversity crisis. They also reveal how birdwatching is a source of comfort. For Mya the fascination is with bird migratory patterns and she spends her time searching for rare bird species.

Arjun focuses his attention on the beauty of birdsong suggesting that perhaps people rely too heavily on their eyes when it comes to identifying and appreciating birds.

You need to take the positive conservation stories and cling on to them for hope and motivation
