Stunning lino cut by Richard Allen, wildlife artist, known for his illustrations of birds and animals which he sketches on the marshes of the Essex coast.

Curlews are ground nesting birds that have declined by an average of 60% in the UK since 1980s. This is due to widespread changes to our countryside. These magnificent birds are recognised by their down-curved bill and distinctive calls which could once be frequently heard along coasts and across farmlands.
