Young Ambassador recognised in Downing Street Lunch

We are delighted to report that our Young Ambassador, Kabir Kaul, has been recognised by Downing Street for his work on the Jubilee project, 70 Nest Boxes for 70 Years

On the 6th June this year, Kabir was invited to attend a Jubilee lunch at 10 Downing Street, hosted by ministers from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.

Kabir's idea to distribute 70 nest boxes to 70 schools in the London area in celebration of the Queen's Jubilee was a huge success with a total of 106 boxes being given out by the end of the project. The initiative was supported by C J Wildlife who provided the boxes.

Wonderful to meet fellow Points of Light volunteers. The 107th nest box will be going in the Rose Garden!

Kabir's achievement was recognised through the Government's Points of Light programme. Points of Light are outstanding individual volunteers who are making a change in their community. Every week day the Prime Minister recognises an inspirational volunteer with the Daily Point of Light award.
