THEY'RE OFF!

They're off!  Lots of preparation and cheering for all the racers leaving Oceanside, California and about to go on some of the toughest rides of their life!  They left at 12.35 California time,  3.35 pm on East coast and 8.35 pm London time.  Getting out of Oceanside is tricky as it's a built up so the cyclists (in pairs) had to cycle without the support vans behind them.  Once out of the city, cars and riders will be reunited.  

Very exciting watching the racers on the the Live Video stream and gives you a real sense of persceptive of how far they have to cycle.  Keep watching and cheering!
