Milford Bird Observatory Opens

Milford Bird Observatory was opened on 1st December 2017. It was a delightful old Pump House that has now been tranformed into a bird hide.  This very special location is excellent for seeing wintering wildfowl and has recorded over 70 species of birds that have been spotted over the last two months.  These include Kingfishers, Bitterns and Cetti’s Warblers.

We were delighted to help this project which is truly a beautiful haven to observe birds and wildlife.  It is located opposite Keyhaven car park and a key fob is needed.  I am very happy to share mine should you wish to visit.  Please email me: info@cameronbespolka.com.  Or you can contact Keith Metcalf on: keithmetcalf@btinternet.com.  Well worth it!
