Walk into a world of opportunity

Walk into a World of Opportunity

Dear Young Nature Lover,

It is hard to imagine a time when the natural world needed our attention more. There is a desperate need for people to show passion and take action. Fortunately there has never been a better time to be a young naturalist with a whole host of opportunities to pursue. If you want to make a difference, we can think of no better starting place than our young peoples' events page dedicated to people like you.

Here you will find everything from nature camps through wildlife walks to scholarships. There are events for all young people from seven to twenty-five and they run throughout the year.

These events provide a great environment in which to meet like-minded people and to expand your network of contacts. If you are looking to make the natural world your passion or your career we can point you in the right direction.

Start Your Adventure
Extended Deadline

We are extending the deadline for applications for the Cameron Bespolka Scholarship at Cornell, New York by an extra two days

This is the fifth year we are working with Cornell Lab of Ornithology to sponsor one UK birder to attend their educational and life changing Young Birders Event held 25th - 28th June, 2020 at Cornell. This event aims to inspire young naturalists with amazing experiences and special insights into birds and conservation. The knowledgeable staff discuss multiple opportunities to pursue a career in ornithology. Please share with anyone who might benefit from this scholarship.

“To say I am grateful would be an understatement. Only now has it hit me just how amazing the event, the people involved and the place were”  - Alex Chapman, Winner 2019

Closing date now the 16th February.
